Jalandhar, Punjab (November 03, 1984): Sikh Students Federation former president and Secretary General of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani (ADPP) Bhai Mandhir Singh has stated that the denial of justice to the victims of Sikh genocide 1984 proves that conclusions drawn by the Sikh militants were correct that the justice could never be attained for the atrocities of June and November 1984 with in the Indian system.

New Delhi, India (October 08, 2013): Victims in a case related to November 1984 massacre of Sikhs opposed (on Oct. 07) Congress leader Sajjan Kumar’s plea to drop nine CBI witnesses, saying they are “very important” and leaving them out will be “miscarriage of justice”.
New Delhi, India (October 02, 2013): It is learnt that the Supreme Court of India (SCI) on Monday (September 01, 2013) said the accused in the November 1984 Sikh massacres related case, including Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, are trying to stall the proceedings in the trial court by approaching higher courts at every stage. However, while saying so, the court agreed to hear their plea for quashing the charges of murder and rioting in the killing of six persons during the 1984 carnage.
In the days after Indira Gandhi's assassination, he was among the local Congress Party leaders competing with one another to see which wards would shed more Sikh blood. In exhorting his party cadres and goons to kill more Sikhs, he is reported to have told them they shamed him in the eyes of the top Congress leaders because there were fewer killings in his wards.
New Delhi, India (May 31, 2013): It is learnt that A Judge of Delhi High Court on May 31, 2013 rescued himself from hearing a plea of Indian politician and Congress leader Jagdish Tytler challenging a lower court order by which the CBI was asked to further investigate his role in a case related to November 1984 violence against the Sikhs. This case relates to the brutal killings of three innocent Sikhs.
Pune, India (May 21, 2013): It is learnt that the Sikhs hit the streets in large numbers on May 19, 2013 in Pune to seek justice for the victims of Sikh genocide 1984. As per media reports: [h]olding banners and raising slogans, the protesters pointed out that hundreds of Sikhs were killed in the 1984 November massacres but the real perpetrators of the crime had been let off. The protest reportedly started from Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar and culminated at Rani Laxmibai Udyan.

Srinagar, Kashmir (February 02, 2012): The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC), a Sikh organization of Sikhs living in Kashmir, on January 31, 2012 sought intervention of the Supreme Court of India for conducting a time-bound inquiry into the killing of 36 Sikhs at Chattisinghpora in south Kashmir in 2000. They welcomed the observations of the Supreme Court in Pathribal killings issue, which is in a way connected with the Chittisinghpura Massacre.
New York (April 25, 2011): In a statement issued by Human Rights Watch, an international human rights body, it is said that the Indian government should ensure that those responsible for newly discovered massacres of Sikhs in 1984 are brought to justice, Human Rights Watch said today.
