The Punjabi version of trailer of upcoming Hollywood movie The Black Prince was released on June 07, 2017. The movie is set to be release on July 21, 2017. English version of the movie was released on May 22.

Hollywood actor Ben Kingsley who is playing a soft spoken Sikh taxi driver in his latest movie "Learning to Drive" said that the feeling of the Turban (Sikh Dastar) on head was "really gratifying". He also told the discrimination and racial abuse used by the Sikh community in the United States is "totally regrettable".

Brillstein Entertainment Partners executive Jai Khanna will co-produce The Black Prince, described as the tragic yet fascinating story about the last king of the state of Punjab (in north India), Maharaja Duleep Singh. Written and to be directed by LA-based Indian filmmaker Kavi Raz, Prince will see the acting debut of one of Punjab's most acclaimed singer-poets, Satinder Sartaaj.
