Two more students attacked in Australia; Irresponsible reporting by Indian Media is making the situation tense –SFA

Melbourne (January 27, 2010): The situation of students of Indian origin in Oz is turning worse as recurring reports of fresh attacks are coming out. As per reports from Melbourne (Australia), two more students of Indian origin were attacked by some mischievous elements on 26th January, here.

Indian media hounds Sikhs again

It is very unfortunate that in the last one month, the pro-Indira print media/Congress party supporters have dug up the wounds of the Sikh community again by portraying her as Godess/”Devi” and remembering her as the courageous woman, iron lady, mother India, iconic leader, visionary leader, charismatic leader, martyr, unifier of the country and the list goes on.

By blaming Pakistan, Indian State and ‘independent’ media can not escape its’ responsibility.

We have come across another attempt by ANI to undermine the problem of increasing drug addiction in Punjab. According to international studies drug addition is a form/tactic used in genocidal processes. News titled “Radio Pakistan ‘concerned’ about drug-addiction” (in Punjab) reported by ANI is published by Trak.in news (may be published by others also).

Another attempt by Indian Media to question the base and legitimacy of Sikh Struggle.

It is usual for Indian media to label the legitimate struggle of Sikhs to regain their sovereignty as a move influenced by conspiracy of Pakistan. Media in India is surprisingly quick in getting copies of secret reports of India’s central or state intelligence agencies. While many Punjabi newspapers are reporting stories with reference to ‘sources’ without giving any further explanation to identify those so-called ‘sources’.
