New Delhi, India: Congress party's Vice President Rahul Gandhi has hand-picked Sikh Genocide 1984 accused Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler for a panel that would oversee party's campaign for upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has strongly condemned the move.
As per inforamtion the Delhi High Court, on July 01, agreed to hear the appeal of one of the three persons who were awarded life term in a case related to November 1984 massacre of the SIkhs for murdering five members of a Sikh family during the pogrom.

New Delhi, India (August 29, 2013): It is learnt the Delhi high court on August 27, 2013 admitted CBI’s appeal against acquittal of Indian politician Sajjan Kumar in a November 1984 Sikh massacre case relating to killing of five Sikhs by a mob in New Delhi. As per information a bench of justices G. S. Sistani and G. P Mittal also asked Sajjan Kumar to appear before the registrar general of the high court to furnish bail bonds on 2 September, 2013 in the case.
