Jalandhar/New Delhi, Punjab/India (January 23, 2013): All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and Bibi Jagdish Kaur prime witness against Sajjan Kumar, asked Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal to move a resolution in the Vidhan Sabha to recognize November 1984 killing of Sikhs as “Genocide”.
Switzerland (January 18, 2013): Ahead of Kamal Nath’s trip to Switzerland right groups “Sikhs For Justice” (SFJ) and a Swiss NGO “Movement Against Atrocities & Repression” (MAR) filed a preliminary indictment with Attorney General of Switzerland urging prosecution of Nath for his role in genocide of Sikhs during November 1984.
New Delhi, India (January 17, 2013): It is learnt that the Delhi High Court on January 16, 2013 asked the Delhi police commissioner to consider a complaint to be filed on behalf of November 1984 carnage victims seeking a CBI probe against police officials responsible for scuttling the charge-sheet, which was prepared it 20 years ago against senior Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in the case.
