London: United Khalsa Dal (UK), a UK based Sikh diaspora group, has slammed United Akali Dal (UAD) chief Bhai Mohkam Singh for his recent interview in which he said that he does not support the cause of Khalistan anymore.

“I have Indian driving license, my passport says I am an Indian, the currency note in my pocket is Indian currency wearing Gandhi’s photo… so I do not have any objection if I am termed as Indian Nationalist”, said Mohkam Singh, who sought the people of Punjab to support his party in upcoming assembly polls.

United Khalsa Dal (UK) leaders Nirmal Singh Sandhu and Loveshinder Singh Dallewal said that Bhai Mohkam Singh was stage secretary of Sarbat Khalsa of 1986 and he used to support the independent Sikh state but now his approach has drastically changed.

UKD said that people like Bhai Mohkam Singh are “used kartoos’ and Sikh sangat should not attempt to refill them, as no good for the panth could result from this process.

UKD leaders, whoever, condemned the use of abusive language against Bhai Mohkam Singh by netizens over social media.
