Scottish citizen Jagtar Singh Johal was today granted bail by Punjab and Haryana High court in Baghapurana (Moga) Case. Jagtar Singh, commonly known as Jaggi Johal, was picked by Punjab police up from Ramamandi (Jalandhar) on 4 November 2017. Police later recorded his arrested in FIR number 193/2016 (police station Baghapurana).

NIA special court here today dismissed bail application moved by arrested Scottish citizen Jagtar Singh Johal alia Jaggi in a case pertaining to alleged attack on Amit Arora. Jagtar Singh Johal's counsel Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur said that the NIA special court has dismissed the bail plea. "Bail application is dismissed but we are waiting for detailed order", he told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN).

The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has dismissed a review petition against jail transfer of Scottish citizen Jagtar Singh alias Jaggi Johal and others. The review was filed against a SCI order allowing jail transfer of Jagtar Singh Jaggi, Hardeep Singh Shera, Ramandeep Singh Bagga and others to Tihar jail in Delhi. The court had also transferred cases against them from Special NIA court Mohali to a similar special court in Delhi.
