London, United Kingdom (April 13, 2014): According to a press statement by the Sikh Federation UK [t]he theme to mark the 30th anniversary of the Genocide of Sikhs in 1984 is TRUTH > JUSTICE > FREEDOM. In the last few months the truth has slowly started to emerge.
First came the letters revealed in the UK in January this year showing the UK advised the Indian authorities about the attack on Sri Harmander Sahib months in advance of June 1984 confirming it was a pre-planned attack aimed as causing maximum Sikh casualties.
The campaign to expose the truth of UK involvement and what the Indian authorities actually did is being led by the Sikh Federation (UK).
More recently we have seen the German government arrest an Indian government agent for spying on Sikh organisations that has alerted governments across the globe and the Sikh Diaspora that Indian spies are at work to undermine the Sikh community. Sikhs should be pointing out to governments that they are obliged to arrest and prosecute these individuals working for the Indian intelligence in the countries in which they continue to operate.
The Sikh Federation (UK) visited Germany last week and it is clear the case in Germany may expose the level of infiltration and the use of agent provocateurs – undercover agents use to entice others to commit illegal acts.
Evidence has also emerged the Indian government is purchasing TV air time in the UK for its operatives to try and discredit the Sikh freedom movement having failed to undermine the 30th anniversary – Remembrance March and Freedom Rally on Sunday 8 June in central London.
