AAP Condemns Attack On Media Persons in Jalalabad (Firozepur)

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday condemned the attack on media persons exposing rampant illegal mining in Jalalabad (Firozepur) on Sunday. In a press statement released from party headquarters, AAP MLAs Amarjit Singh Sandhoa and Jai Krishan Singh Rodi said that the illegal mining in state is going on without any check and the mining mafia is flourishing unfer present regime.
The MLAs said that the inability of govt. to take action against sand mafia shows that the representatives of present govt. are hand in glove with the mafia. They said the govt. must wake up from the deep slumber and see that even the fourth pillar of democracy is not safe from the mafia goons.
The AAP MLAs demanded from Punjab govt. the strict action must be taken against the mafia people and ensure safety and security of media people covering such events.
