Chandigarh/ Amritsar: In a written statement issue on May 20 (copy available with the Sikh Siyasat News), Akhand Kirtani Jatha Bhai Bakhshish Singh and senior leader Bhai RP Singh clarified that the Akhand Kirtani Jatha (AKJ) had nothing to do with a fake poster issued under AKJ (Amritsar) name against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
AKJ leaders said that their organization was a religious body and they have nothing to do with the vote politics.
Bhai RP Singh told SSN over phone that some miscreants had prepared poster under the name of the Akhand Kirtani Jatha (Amritsar Urban) and the poster was pasted at various public places in Punjab. The poster criticises Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal for demolition of Bhai Mati Dass Chhabil at Chandi Chowk Delhi.
He warned such miscreants against misusing the name of Akhand Kirtani Jatha. He said that they are trying to find the ‘culprits’ and due legal action would be initiated against them.
