Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has sent a letter for Iqbal which reads as follows:

Dear Iqbal Singh Ji,

I have learnt from various sources that you are sitting on indefinite Anshan demanding justice for Sikhs on various issues.

Our government is sympathetic to the issue and would like to take all necessary steps to ensure full justice. However, the issues involved are very complex and require consultation at various stages. We will try to find solution soonest.

Delhi Government has already recommended to the President the release of Prof. Bhullar and would also be working on other issues including formation of SIT etc, in sympathetic and time bound manner.

Yours Sincerely,

(Arvind Kejriwal)
Chief Minister.
