Badal held close-door meeting with Hari Singh Zira; Assures angry MLA a ‘suitable’ post

Bathinda, Punjab (June 14, 2014): To pacify the protesting MLA from Zira, Hari Singh Zira and his family, Parkash Singh Badal met him at the residence of his close confidant Baljit Singh Bir Behman former Mayor of Bathinda MC where Sikander Singh Maluka Minister for Rural Development Punjab, Balwinder Singh Bhunder M.P were waiting along with the family of infuriated senior Akali leader Hari Singh Zira MLA and his family members.

According to news portal Babushahi.com, Parkash Singh Badal held a closed door meeting with them for 20 minutes to placate the family of Hari Singh Zira a four time MLA who was also Irrigation Minister in the Surjit Singh Barnala Ministry in 1985.

Zira is annoyed with the SAD (Badal) leadership for ignoring his claim in the recent held expansion of Badal Ministry. As per sources Hari Singh Zira has been assured a suitable slot in the Parkash Singh Badal Ministry in the near future. It is said a chairmanship of an important board was also offered to Hari Singh Zira who turned down it politely.

SAD (Badal) president Sukhbir Singh Badal had also held a meeting with Hari Singh Zira along with Bhunder and Maluka Yesterday. Both Bhunder and Maluka have played a key role in bringing the annoyed leader for meeting with Badals.
