Talwandi Sabo, Punjab (August 07, 2014): Punjabi Singer Balkar Sidhu may have been pleading that he has rebelled from Aam Aadmi Party to win Talwandi Sabo seat of Punjab state assembly for Aam Aadmi Party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal, but his arguments did not convince AAP’s disciplinary committee.
Aam Aadmi Party’s state disciplinary committee held a meeting and decided, unanimously, to oust Balkar Sidhu, resident of Village Poohla (Bathinda), and Sandeep Handa (Faridkot) from the party.
AAP has cancelled primary membership of Balkar Sidhu and Sandeep Handa for anti-party activities.
Three member disciplinary committee comprising Dr. Daljit Singh, Hardeep Singh Kingra and Gulshan Chhabra reportedly found that Balkar Sidhu was involved in anti-AAP activities as he had filed nomination papers against AAP candidate Prof. Baljinder Kaur from Talwandi Sabo.
Sandeep Handa, who was handed over responsibility by AAP to work for their mission Vistaar in Faridkot District, has been supporting Balkar Sidhu against AAP candidate there. Sandeep Handa was also a member of state level organization committee of Aam Aadmi Party.
