Avtar Singh Makkar said “both former Punjab chief minister captain Amrinder Singh and Haryana minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha are violating orders of Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh on the issue of separate committee for Haryana”.
“Akal Takhat Jathedar may summon both the leaders for making statements in the matter” he added.

Captain Amrinder Singh, a day ago, had stated that Sikhs of Haryana did not want Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal to rule on them through president of SGPC. He also stated that Badals and Makkar were telling lies on the issue of separate committee for Haryana just to misguide Sikhs of Haryana.

Haryana minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha had stated that the separate committee was right of Sikhs and Haryana and they should be given the right.
