Chandigarh: Jagtar Singh Jaggi Johal, a Scottish Sikh arrested and jailed in India, was granted bail in another case today. Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur, counsel of Jaggi Johal, said in a video update that the Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to Jagtar Singh Jaggi in FIR ‘RC 24 NIA 2017’ u/s 307 IPC and various sections of UAPA.
Talking to the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone Advo. Jaspal Singh Manjhpur said that Jagtar Singh Jaggi was booked in 11 cases after his arrest on 4 November 2017.
“Out of these 11 cases, Jaggi is already discharged in one case and he is granted bail in 3 other cases” said Advo. Manjhpur, while adding that Jaggi is still awaiting bail in seven other cases.
