Jathedars withdraw pardon to controversial Dera Sirsa Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim

Amritsar: As per confirmed information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), the Sikh Jathedars have withdrawn so-called pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Notably Jathedars had announced pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim on September 24, 2015 for his 2007 blasphemous activities.
Jathedars’ decision to grant pardon to dera chief had sparked global outrag
A press release issued from Akal Takhat Secretariat today states that the decision to grant pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim stands withdrawn as this decision was rejected by the “Guru Panth”.
