Jind Bypoll Results: BJP wins Jind for first time

Chandigarh: Haryana’s ruling party BJP’s Candidate Krishan middha won the high-stakes Jind bypoll defeating his nearest rival, Digvijay Singh of JJP by 12935.

Bhartiya Janata Party Candidate Krishan Middha Garnered a total of 50566 votes.

The bypoll on the Jind Seat was necessitated after the Death of Krishan Middha’s Father INLD MLA Hari Chan Middha. He had represented Jind Twice.


11:15 am: After Round 4, the BJP has managed to gain a lead in Jind. The party candidate is leading in 15,481 seats, while Digvijay Chautala has slipped into the second position with 13,443 votes. Congress’s Randeep Surjewala has manageed to win 7,614 votes.

 


10:27 am: After the second round, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) was leading with 4,253 votes, BJP was at the second position with 3,719 votes and Congress was at the third place with 1,754 votes. INLD got 373 votes.

Candidates, including Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, JJP leader Digvijay Chautala reached the counting centre as soon as the counting of votes begin in Arjuna stadium.
