New Delhi: As per a written press release [o]n Tuesday November 1, 2016, Lok Raj Sangathan would be organising a March on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Genocide of Sikhs in 1984 on the theme “The guilty of the genocide of 1984 must be punished!”.
“The March will begin from Mandi House at 10:30 a.m.and proceed towards Jantar Mantar. This will be followed by a public rally at Jantar Mantar”, reads a statement by Lok Raj Sangathan.
Other organisations participating in the march and rally include Communist Ghadar Party of India, Social Democratic Party of India, Sikh Forum, Jamaat e Islami Hind, All India Forward Block, All India Progressive Women’s Association, CPI(ML) New Proletarian, Association for Protection of Civil Rights, Citizens for Democracy, Nishant Natya Manch, United Muslims Front, Welfare Party of India, Popular Front of India, INSAF, All India Majlis e Mushawarat, Student Islamic Organisation, Purogami Mahila Sangathan, AIFTU (NEW), Bhagat Singh Ambedkar Student Organisation, Youth Awakening Movement Jan Sangharsh Manch Haryana, Mazdoor Ekta Committee, Hind Naujawan Ekta Sabha, United Sikh Mission, and others.
It is notable that high ups in the Congress party and the Indian administration perpetrated the Sikh genocidal violence against the Sikhs in November 1984, in which thousands of Sikhs were massacred throughout India. Culprits of the genocidal massacres of Nov. 1984 have enjoyed impunity and high political posts during past three decades where as the victims of the massacre were left to perish as the justice was blatantly denied in these cases.
