Nepal Earthquake: Historic Sikh Gurdwaras in Nepal are safe

Patiala: Buildings of various Sikh Gurudwaras across Nepal including Gurudwara Nanak Math Sahib and Gurudwara Khooh Sahib remained unaffected during the intensive earthquake. SP Singh Oberoi, a leader of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust shared this information with the media.

It is notable that Nepal was hit by a 7.9 scale strong earthquake. The quake has left thousands dead, many more injured and even more without shelter.

Various Sikh bodies, including Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee, Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee and Khalsa Aid are also engaged in extending humanitarian aid to the earthquake hit people of Nepal. SGPC and DSGMC are sending more than 100K food packets to Nepal daily to feed the needy people.
