NIA Seeks Discharge of Taljit Singh Jimmy in Ravinder Gosain Case; 4 POs and Chargesheet 11 including Jagtar Singh Jaggi

SAS Nagar/Mohali: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India today sought discharge of Taljit Singh alias Jimmy Singh in case number RC/18/DLI/2017. This case is related to the killing of Hindutva activist and Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader Ravinder Gosain in PS Jodhewal area of Ludhiana.
Defense counsel Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that the NIA submitted its chargesheet in Ravinder Gosain case before the court of special NIA judge Ms. Anshul Berry in the agency reportedly sought discharge of Taljit Singh alias Jimmy Singh saying that no evidence emerged against him in this case.

The NIA has declared 4 persons as proclaimed offenders- namely, Harmeet Singh alias PHD, Gursharanbir Singh, Gurjinder Singh Shastri and Gurjant Singh.
The agency has presented charges against Hardeep Singh Shera, Ramandeep Singh Bagga, Jagtar Singh Johal, Pahar Singh, Dharminder Singh Gugni, Anil Kala, Parvez, Malook, Amaninder Singh, Ravipal Singh and Manpreet Singh.
In wake of death of Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo in Patiala jail the record related to his demise is summoned by the court to be taken on record in this case.
The court is expected to handover the copy of chargesheet submitted by NIA to the defence today. The court proceedings were on at the time of writing this news.
