Punjab Government Transfers 8 IAS Officers with Immediate Effect

Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has issued transfer and posting orders of 8 IAS officers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that Satish Chandra has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare against a vacant post and in addition Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education & Research and in addition ACS Power, Manikant Prasad Singh as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Taxation and in addition Additional Chief Secretary-cum- Financial Commissioner, Forest and Wild Life, Sanjay Kumar as Principal Secretary, Labour and in addition Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Services, Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari as Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training and in addition Secretary, Employment Generation and Training and in addition Mission Director, Skill Development and Hussan Lal as Secretary, Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads); and in addition services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Finance for posting as Managing Director, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board.
Likewise Kahan Singh Pannu has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture and Soil Conservation and in addition Secretary, Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and in addition Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board, Patiala, Vikas Garg as Secretary, Horticulture and in addition Secretary-cum-Mission Director, Food Processing and in addition Managing Director, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Limited and Arunjit Singh Miglani has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Personnel and in addition Mission Director, Directorate of Ground Water Management in the Department of Water Resources.
