Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today ordered a special screening of controversial movie ‘Udta Punjab’ to decide if it was fit for public screening. Notably, the Bombay High Court cleared the movie today with one cut and an `A’ certificate. The Central Board for Film Certification had order the filmmakers to make 89 cuts in the movie.

The P & H HC order by Justice M Jeyapaul came three days before the movie’s scheduled release on June 17. The HC passed this order on a petition filed by advocate Wattan Sharma against the Union of India and other respondents.
