S. Ajmer Singh’s book on Gadhar movement released in Leicester

Leicester, UK (October 14, 2013): It is learnt that Sikh scholar Ajmer Singh’s latest book on the history of Gadhar Movement was released in Leicester at Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadur on October 13, 2013. S. Ajmer Singh is currently visiting United Kingdom. He was at Gurdwara Guru Tegh Bahadur, Leicester on the invitation of the Gurdwara management committee.

Bhai Mangal Singh, Bhai Kuldeep Singh Chaheru, S. Amarjit Singh Minhas, S. Raja Singh Kang and other committee members released S. Ajmer Singh’s book “Gadhri Babie Kaun Sann” (Who were Gadhris?).

The book was released in Punjab by Giani Gurbachan Singh, Jathedar Akal Takht on September 24, 2013 during a function held at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Verka-Majitha Bye-Pass, Amritsar.

The book challenges the distortion of the history of Gadhar movement by Indian nationalists and Punjab leftists.
