SGPC Lodges Complaint About Beadbi of Gurbani Pothi at Akal Takht Sahib; Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala Demands Strict Acton

Amritsar: The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) reportedly lodged a complaint with the police this evening regarding a suspected incident of Beadbi at Akal Takht Sahib. As per reports a Rajasthani woman named Bano wife of Mangu was seen as hiding a Gurbani pothi in her dress. After her suspicious activity came to the notice of Sewadars, she was surrounded and was handed over to the police.

Local journalists told SSN that initially the police were not providing any satisfactory answer to the media.

The matter was taken up by Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) chief Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, after which the SGPC officials came into action and sent a complaint to the police to register a case regarding the incident.
