SGPC to hold World Punjabi Language Conference in October at Fatehgarh Sahib

Fatehgarh Sahib/ Amritsar: The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has announced you to hold a World Punjabi Conference at Fatehgarh Sahib in October. Extending invitation of the Conference, SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar said that the Conference will be held on 7 and 8 Katak Nanakshahi (23-24 October, 2015) at Giani Ditt Singh Auditorium, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib.

SGPC chief said that the theme of the conference would be “Mother Language Punjabi Concerns and possibilities”.

He said that the conference will be divided into six sessions, including an exclusive session on Gurmukhi script.
