New Delhi, India (March 03, 2014): As per certain media reports controversial and tainted Congress leader Jagdish Tytler is all set to contest Lok Sabha elections 2014 from North-East Delhi constituency.

Jagdish Tytler is facing CBI inquiry for instigating violence against the Sikhs in November 1984 in at a North Delhi Gurdwara. The violence was perpetrated by high-ups in Indian administration and the ruling Congress party, therefore impunity prevailed all over during last three decades.

Delhi High court denies to stay CBI investigations against Jagdish Tytler; Next hearing on 14 Junuary 2013

Indian politician Jagdish Tytler is one of the prime accused of Sikh Genocide 1984 who have been shield by Congress party and Indian state for last 29 years

Jagdish Tytler, like others accused for Sikh pogrom 1984, was patronized, protected and rewarded with high political posts by the Congress Party.

It is notable that during 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Jagdish Tytler had to give up his ministerial post in the Union government and was even denied the ticket.

He was dropped from candidature for Lok Sabha in 2009 after the then home minister P. Chittambram faced strong protest from a journalist over dubious CBI clean-chit to Jagdish Tytler ahead of Lok Sabha elections. Journalist Jarnail Singh had hurled his shoe towards the home minister as a token of protest, after which the Congress leadership decided to cancel the LS ticket to Jagdish Tytler.

In a recent interview to BBC, Tytler had said, “Congress Party gives me everything that I am today.”

Jagdish Tytler is accused of instigating a violent mob, which murdered three men – Badal Singh, Thakur Singh and Gurcharan Singh – who had taken shelter at a north Delhi Gurudwara on November 1, 1984.

Earlier another court in 2007 had asked agencies to re-investigate Tytler’s alleged role.
