Beadbi incidents: It’s grief time, people should celebrate this Diwali with austerity & simplicity

Terming the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib as unbearable, the Dal Khalsa, SAD Panch Pardani, Sikh Youth of Punjab and Sikhs for Human Rights (SFHR) has made an emotive appeal to the people of Panjab irrespective of religion to observe this Diwali with austerity and simplicity in view of painful events of sacrilege in Punjab.

SGPC endorses Black Diwali call indirectly: No fireworks & show of lightening at Darbar Sahib

The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has indirectly endorsed the call of Panthic pracharaks and panthic organizations to mark "black Diwali" this year. SGPC yesterday announced that no fireworks or lightening will take place during Parkash Gurpurb of Guru Ramdas Ji (29 Oct.) and Bandi Chhor in wake of saddening and painful incidents of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
