Controversial Rapper Honey Singh and music producer Bhushan Kumar have been booked by the Punjab Police for vulgar lyrics of their latest song. Duo have been booked after a complaint by the state women’s commission chief.
Chandigarh/ Punjab (September 08, 2013): Punjabi rapper Zo Zo Honey Singh has reportedly approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court seeking HC's direction to dismiss FIR registered against him.
Chandigarh, Punjab (July 04, 2013): A Punjabi rapper-cum-singer, Zo Zo Honey Singh, who had been at the horns of controversy due to allegations of vulgar singing, was able to evade the kicks this time. Honey Singh, who was booked by Punjab police at the directions of Punjab and Haryana High Court earlier this year, reportedly claimed in the High Court on July 03, 2013 that he did not sing the controversial vulgar song - “Main Hun Balatkari” (I am a rapist).
Chandigarh (April 25, 2013): According to certain media reports the Punjab and Haryana high court on April 25, 2013 ordered Punjabi rapper-cum-singer Honey Singh to present himself before the court on May 14, 2013 to respond to the allegations levelled against him for singing a song 'Main Hoon Balatkari' (I am a rapist).
