Makhu and Mallanwala Incidents: Punjab Police Arrest 14 Sikhs, including 2 Minors

In a late night action on intervening night of Feb. 27 and 28, the Ferozepur Police arrested 18 Sikhs in relation to dera Sauda Sirsa controversy. The arrested persons also include two minors.

Mallanwala Incident: Police Book Sikh Pracharak, 70 others; Dera’s Charcha held under police protection

A day after the clash between followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and Sikh sangat at Mallanwala in Ferozepur district, the police booked Sikh preacher Baba Dilbagh Singh of Ek-Noor Khalsa Fauj and 70 unidentified people.

Political, social and Human rights orgs jointly condemned arrest of Sikh Leaders under UAPA
