Get SYL, Hansi-Butana canal issues resolved, Haryana CM to Centre

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has once again raised the issue of Satluj Yamuna Link (SYL) and Hansi Butana canals. Addressing a gathering at the Vikas Rally organised by Nangal Choudhary MLA Abhay Singh Yadav on May 28, the Haryana CM urged BJP led central government of India to “solve” the decade long issue of SYL canal and clear the “hurdles” in the way of Hansi Butana Canal.

Hansi-Butana canal: SCI accepts Haryana’s plea for early adjudication against stay order; Decision likely on April 24

New Delhi, India (April 19, 2014): It is learnt that on Tuesday (April 15) the Supreme Court of India (SCI) accepted Haryana government’s plea for an early hearing of its application for vacating the 2007 SC order, restraining it from using the 109-km Hansi-Butana canal.
