A joint delegation of Hindu and Muslim organizational leaders met with US Congressman Ro Khanna on October 21 to thank him for his recent statement rejecting the political ideology of Hindutva.
Since August 9, the international wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has hosted events in at least 17 government offices throughout the US, including those of two congressmen and nine law enforcement departments, in a coordinated campaign which a US-based human rights group warns is “an attempt to legitimise a fascist paramilitary responsible for pogroms against minorities in India.”
The Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) UK is reportedly facing a probe by British authorities for holding extremist views. The probe was launched after a footage caught a teacher on camera making anti- Muslim and Christian remarks to students at a camp organised by an Hindutva fountainhead Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-inspired charity.
