Situation of Languages and Linguistics policy of India (Special Talkshow with Prof. Joga Singh)

Prof. Joga Singh said that Languages in India were not recognized in accordance with linguistic norms, rather the politics played it's part in this matter and many languages were not recognized in their independent form. Such languages were merely declared as sub-forms of Hindi. For example as per linguistic parameters Bhojpuri was an independent language but it was declared as a sub-form of Hindi.
