UK based Sangat TV has once again become target of the broadcasting regulatory authority called Ofcom. The Ofcom has recently held investigation against Sikh religious and cultural service Sangat TV for showing up a music video related to the promotion of “The Mastermind - Sukha and Jinda Movie”.
London, UK (August 17, 2013): As per recent media reports (the British media regulatory authority called "Ofcom" has fined a UK-based Sikh television channel, Sangat TV, £30,000 over a comment passed by one of the guests participating in a discussion over the issue of attack on Indian Army's former officer Kuldip Brar. The show was aired in October 2012 when Kuldip Brar was assulted by some Sikhs in London.

Amritsar (August 02, 2012): A leader of ruling Badal Dal, Rajinder Singh Mehta, claimed that decision taken by Akal Takht Jadhedar Giani Gurbachan Singh regarding Waraich village Gurdwara destruction by Radha Swami Beas cult is final. Mehta is a member of Executive committee of SGPC. He also headed the probe-panel set up by SGPC in look into the facts related to Waraich Village Gurudwara demolition. On the basis of report submitted by this probe-penal the Jathedar Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh is said to have granted a Clean Chit to Dera Radha Soami Beas.
Amritsar, Punjab (July 31, 2012): Dal Khalsa has expressed its disagreement with the issuance of clean chit to Dera Beas sect by the SGPC and Jathedar of the Akal Takht in the matter of demolition of Gurdwara structure in village Wariach near Beas.
Beas, Punjab (July 30, 2012): On the evening of July 28, 2012 a TV journalist was attacked by dera radha swami (Beas) men while he was talking to resident of Village Jodhan. On the evening of July 29, 2012 Manmohan Singh, SP (HQ) visited the spot where the incident had taken place and recovered camera-mic with Sangat TV logo and some personal belongings of Baljeet Singh that were left left on the day of incident when dera mob comprising around more than two hundred armed men attacked the reporter.

The men of Radha Soami Dera at Beas, which preaches non-violence, attacked the crew of Sangat TV at village Jodhe near Beas in the district of Amritsar. However, both the members of the crew were lucky enough to escape the attack.
