The family members of slain Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) chief Bhai Harmeet Singh (PHD), along with representatives of Sikh organisations and Sikh sangat organised Antim Ardas and Shaheedi Samgam in Bhai Harmeet Singh's memory. He as assassinated by gunmen on January 27 near Lahore.

A new book titled Punjab Da Butcher - KPS Gill (KPS Gill - The Butcher of Punjab) was released on January 8 at Akal Takht Sahib. The book was released by Akal Takht head granthi Giani Jagtar Singh in the presence of various Sikh personalities and representatives of Sikh organisations.
