Akal Takht jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has condemned the murder of Satwinder Singh Bhola, son-in-law of fasting Sikh activist Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, in Chicago in the US.
Family of Satwinder Singh Bhola (53), who was found stabbed to death in the parking lot of his Peoria, Illinois apartment complex shortly after midnight on Monday, are questioning whether his murder could be related to his father-in-law’s internationally-recognized hunger-strike protest in India.
Fr. Joshua Lickter, who has repeatedly appealed on behalf of hunger-striker Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, released a statement on Monday questioning the motive behind Monday’s Chicago-region murder of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s son-in-law, Satwinder Singh Bhola.
In a written statement issued today, the Sikh Federation UK, a UK based Sikh organisation has suspected Indian government operatives for shocking murder of Satwinder Singh Bhola, 53, in Chicago.
