Punjab Police’s special investigation team has granted ‘clean chit’ to the followers of controversial Noormehal Dera called Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan (DJJS) in a case related to act of arson in a Jodhpur Gurdwara Sahib and burning a saroops of Guru Granth Sahib. The incident had taken place on December 01.
In an appeal made on the name of Sikh Panth from Akal Takhat, Jathedar of the Takhat Giyani Gurbachan Singh Khalsa has urged Sikh Panth not to make political allegations on June 6 when the Sikh Panth will be observing 30th anniversary of attack on Akal Takhat at Amritsar.

Ajitgarh, Punjab (November 29, 2013): Bhai Gurbax Singh’s hunger strike has completed 16 days, while there is no response from the concerned governments so far as the matter of release of those Sikh prisoners is concerned, who have already completed the terms of their sentences.
