The agency opposed the defence arguments and said the nature and extent of crime shows the vast network and larger conspiracy behind it.

109 members of US Congress call for Sikh hate crime tracking

Washington, DC (March 22, 2013): As per information available with Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) one hundred and nine members of the U.S. House of Representatives issued a new letter today calling on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to begin tracking hate crimes against Sikhs, Hindus, and Arab-Americans, the way it does for other communities. The FBI is scheduled to make a decision about this issue in June.

Case against Sajjan Kumar – Delhi police secured adjournment alleging security reasons; Sikhs protested outside Delhi court

New Delhi, India (March 20, 2013): It is learnt that on March 18, 2013 the CBI was scheduled to conclude it's arguments in a November 1984 case against Indian politician Sajjan Kumar but the Delhi police was able to secure the adjournment of the issue citing security reasons. The trial of this case is being held at a court in Delhi.
