Defense Gets Copies of 4 NIA More Chargesheets Against Jagtar Singh Jaggi & Others

Mohali: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India has presented chargesheets against Scottish Sikh citizen Jagtar Singh Jaggi and others in 4 more cases. The copies of the chargesheets that were submitted to the court by NIA, were handed over to the defense lawyers today.
During today’s court hearing Jagtar Singh Johal @ Jaggi, Ramandeep Singh @ Bagga, Dharminder Singh @ alias Gugni, Amaninder Singh, Ravipal Singh, Manpreet Singh, Pahad Singh, Parvez, Malook and Taljit Singh @ Jimmy Singh were presented before the court. But the administration did not produce Hardeep Singh @ Shera before the court today.

“NIA has submitted chargesheets in Paster Sultan Masih, Durga Prasad, Dera Premi Father-son duo and Amit Sharma murder cases. The agency had earlier submitted chargesheet in RSS leader Ravinder Gosain’s case on May 4. The NIA has sought discharge of Taljit Singh @ Jimmy Singh in all these cases”, Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News.
Today’s proceedings took place before Additional Session Judge Sanjay Agnihotri as NIA special judge Ms. Anshul Berry was on leave.
Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur said that he has moved an application in the court seeking directions for the jail administration to allow Malook to perform Namaz with other Muslim inmates in the jail during the Ramazan days. “As the NIA judge was on leave, the matter fixed for hearing tomorrow”, he added.
