Jammu police removed posters of Sant Bhindranwale; Sikhs outraged

Jammu: A clash reportedly took place between a group of Sikh youths and policemen in Rani Bagh area of Jammu after Jammu police personnel removed posters related to “Ghallughara June 1984” day. The posters were being termed as “objectionable stuff” by the police and the media as the posters were carrying photo of Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

As per information a group of Sikh youth objected to removal of posters by the police, which led to verbal altercation and mild scuffle. No one was hurt in the incident.

Jammu based Sikh youth groups have strongly condemned the police action. More details were awaited at the time of writing this news.
