Surinder Singh, a TV journalist, in one of his reports said that AISSF president Karnail Singh Peermohammad and a local SGPC member belonging to Badal Dal were trying to get the march canceled. In a camera encounter with Karnail Singh Peermohammad Surinder Singh asked ‘if Badal government had any problem if the march is taken out by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa?’

While countering Surinder Singh’s point Karnail Singh Peermohammad maintained that the decision to cancel the march was taken even before his arrival to Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib. He said that the decision to cancel the march was taken by choosing a ‘slip’. He said that it was not a proper method to take decisions by picking up slips randomly.

Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) sources said that the matter of ‘Last Wish March’ was then discussed by ‘Panj Pyare’ who decided in favor of taking out march to Amritsar.

As soon as Panj Pyare, along with Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa and hundreds of other Sikhs, tried to begin the march the Haryana police prevented them from moving forward.
