According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), a Bathinda court today dismissed a 2007 Salabatpura case against Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. The case was got registered by a Bathinda resident Ranjinder Singh Sidhu in 2007 after the Sirsa based cult's activities had triggered huge controversy.
Bathinda, Punjab (May 24, 2014): Controversial self-styled godman and Sirsa-based Dera Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim has reportedly been directed to appear in a Bathinda court on August 8 in a case relating to hurting of religious sentiments of the Sikhs. Panchkula (March 3, 2014): As per media reports Gurmeet Ram Rahim, a self-styled godman and head of Sirsa based controversial Dera, who has been facing criminal charges including rape, abduction, murder and sexual exploitation of Sadhvis, has submitted a list of 98 defence witnessed in a CBI court.
Chandigarh/ Punjab (March 03, 2014): In fresh trouble for the controversial head of Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS), Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is facing charges of forced castration of his followers inside the dera, the Haryana government on Friday (Feb. 28) confirmed that his seven former associates were castrated.
