Amritsar, Punjab (November 25, 2012): The Dal Khalsa has taken serious note of the hooliganism shown by the followers of "self proclaimed" godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim against the Sikhs in the town of Sirsa. The organization on Sunday slammed the Congress governments for its patronization to the head of the Sirsa cult.

Moga/Punjab (September 23, 2012): In a recent court verdict 34 followers of Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) are sentenced to 3 years imprisonment each for indulging in arson, causing damage to public property and ordered to pay fine of Rs. 5000 each. Another accused Agya Pal Singh has reportedly been acquitted in the absence of concrete evidence against him.

Beas, Punjab (July 30, 2012): On the evening of July 28, 2012 a TV journalist was attacked by dera radha swami (Beas) men while he was talking to resident of Village Jodhan. Chandigarh (July 28, 2012): As per media reports the Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief, Gurmeet Ram Raheem was arrayed as a respondent in a petition filed by former Dera follower alleging castration of 400 sadhus on the directions of Raheem.
