Understand, and act against, blasphemous behaviour against Sikh Gurus on Facebook etc; Do not become part of it

Dear Editor, I wish to share my humble views with you and the readers of your site. These days there is a new phenomena, that many miscreants are tempering with certain paintings supposed to be that of Sikh Guru Sahibans in blasphemous manner. These persons are publishing this blasphemous content on Facebook etc. Mostly fake Facebook ids are used for distributing this material; while some use their own facebook ids for this purpose.

3 days police remand of Amit Sharma, who used abusive language against Sikh Gurus on Facebook

Jalandhar, Punjab ( June 22, 2013): It is learnt that Amit Sharma, an activist of Shiv Sena, who used derogatory words against Tenth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, over social networking site Facebook has been booked by Jalandhar police under Section 295A of Indian Penal Code and Section 66A of Information Technology Act.

New York: United Sikhs has won the $250,000/- 'Chase Community Giving' contest on Facebook with a margin of 4969 votes from its closest contestant. The NGO received a total of 22,685 votes. The top eligible charity receives $250,000 and the remaining 99 top charities earn $25,000 through $100,000 awards.
