Amritsar, Punjab (January 10, 2013): Dal Khalsa has reportedly condemned the beheading of a Sikh Mohinder Singh, who was abducted by a militant group from his shop at Tabbai village of Khyber Agency in Pakistan on November 20, 2012.
Jalandhar/Amritsar, Punjab (December 27, 2012): It is learnt that Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), Khalsa Action Committee, Dal Khalsa and some other Sikh groups have condemned the arrest of Sikh preacher Baba Baljeet Singh Daduwal. The organizations have reportedly warned the governments of Punjab and Haryana of an agitation if Baba Daduwal was not released.
Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab (December 23, 2012): As per reports the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) led by former MP S. Simranjeet Singh mann will contest the upcoming Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elections. DSGMC elections are scheduled to be held on January 27, 2013. The announcement is this regard has reportedly been made by party president Simranjit Singh Mann.
Amritsar, Punjab (December 09, 2012): It is learnt that the Akal Takhat Sewak Jatha, comprising various Sikh bodies, has entered an accord with the Dera Radha Swami Beas to secure the re-construction of a Gurudwara Sahib at Village Waraich near Beas, Punjab. The Gurudwara Sahib was demolished by Dera Beas after purchasing the land from village Panchayat to secure the expansion of dera.
Sirsa/Mansa, Haryana/Punjab (November 24, 2012): According to various media sources curfew was imposed in Sirsa town of Haryana on November 24, 2012 after incidents of arson during a clash between Sikhs and followers of Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS).
Rayya/Beas, Punjab (October 25, 2012): According to media reports representatives of Sikh organizations and Dera Radha Swami administrators are deliberating to find an acceptable solution to the issue of demolition of Gurudwara Sahib of Village Waraich.
According to information sent by S. Chain Singh from France Mr Didier Mignot, Left Front Party Mayor of Le Blanc Mesnil, was invited to meet Sikh Community during a dinner at Bhai Parmjit Singh Sohal' House. it was the opportunity for the French Sikh community to share their difficulties and their concern about the respect of Sikh identity in French society.
Jalandhar/Punjab (September 24, 2012): Various Social, Political, Religious and Human Rights Organizations of Punjab have jointly condemned the arrest of Sikh leaders Bhai Kulbir Singh Barapind (President of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani) and Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu (Former President of ADPP). Both leaders were arrested by Punjab police for waging war against the Indian state and notorious “Unlawful Activities (P) Act” was also lashed against them besides various other laws.

It is notable that one of the Gurudwara Sahibs of this village were destroyed by Dera Radha Swami Beas management to secure expansion of dera in the vicinity.
Chandigarh/Punjab (August 25, 2012): Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal who is facing a Human Rights Law suit in United States has returned from his foreign trip whereas Punjab has dispatched a legal team comprising of Ashok Aggarwal, Advocate General of Punjab and S. K. Sandhu an IAS Officer, who is Principal Secretary to Chief Minister to study and discuss the case with legal experts in US.
New York (August 8, 2012): On August 8, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin issued Summons against visiting Chief Minister of the State of Punjab, Parkash Badal, on the charges of police custodial torture and shielding the Police officers, DGP Sumedh Saini and others who are responsible for the extra judicial killings and continuous human rights violations against the Sikh community in Punjab.
Fatehgarh Sahib (August 4, 2012): As per information shared by "Sikh24.com" news it is learned that Sukhbir Badal, the Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, will be visiting UK for two days starting August 6th. He is scheduled to tour Canada and USA from August 8th onwards. The special visit by Sukhbir Badal has been organized for him to take part in the wedding of a relative of Surjit Rakhra to take place in the US. It has been learned that Parkash Badal will also be traveling to the United States to take part in the wedding ceremonies.
Gurdaspur, Punjab (June 21, 2012): A protest rally held by various Sikh organisations in Gurdaspur to demand the arrest of the killers of Bhai Jaspal Singh (18) of nearby Chorh Sidhwan village, who was killed in police firing during a bandh on March 29, passed off peacefully on Wednesday, (June 20, 2012).
Fatehgarh Sahib (December 14, 2011) The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) led by S. Simranjeet Singh Mann, has declared that it would contest all 117 seats in the upcoming Punjab assembly elections.
