California, USA: A Sikh named Labh Singh Nigah was killed in a suspected hate crime on November 13, 2014 in Oxnard City of California. Labh Singh Nigah, 55, was reportedly stabbed to death in Sierra Linda Park when he was walking after dropping his son in the Sierra Linda Elementary School. Though the motive of the murder has yet to be ascertained, the American Sikh community suspect that the killing was a hate crime.
