Amritsar, Punjab (November 25, 2013): Taking to jibe at both the BJP and the Congress for playing 'tug of war' against each other to establish as to who is more poisonous, the Dal Khalsa claimed that for ethnic minorities both have equal substance of poison in their kitty's.
New Delhi, India (November 7, 2013): According to media reports the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) have finally agreed to a seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections slated for December 4, 2013.
It is generally believed that the Congress cadres were behind this genocide. This is true but there were other forces too which actively participated in this massacre and whose role has never been investigated. Those who were witness to the genocide of 1984 were stunned by the swiftness and military precision of the killer marauding gangs (later on witnessed during the Babri mosque demolition, burning alive of Dr. Graham Steins with his two sons and recent pogrom of the Muslims in Gujarat) who went on a burning spree of the innocent Sikhs. This was beyond the capacity of the Congress thugs.
Jalandhar, Punjab (October 25, 2013): It is learnt that Bhariya Janta Party (BJP), an ally with the Badal Dal, has condemned the Bathinda MP Harsimrat Badal for her statement regarding Rahul Gandhi’s comments on assassination of his grandmother Indira Gandhi. As per media reports BJP said that “such statements demoralise security forces”.

New Delhi/ Chandigarh, India (October 21, 2013): According to certain Punjab’s ruling party Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) or the Badal Dal has apparently decided to contest alone in 12 seats in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
Bhuj, Gujrat (October 12, 2013): According to certain media reports four Sikh farmers injured by 30 armed men on Tuesday (Oct. 08) at Loria village near Bhuj city in Gujarat's Kutch district have named Anjar's BJP legislator Vasanbhai Ahir as perpetrator.
Chandigarh/ Punjab (August 07, 2013): According to a news reported by 'Manorma Online' the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on August 07, 2013 formed a four-member committee that would visit Gujarat to look into the issue of Sikh farmers facing the threat of eviction from the state.
Amritsar, Punjab (June 12, 2013): The Dal Khalsa, while appreciating the initiative of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee of laying the foundation stone of 1984 Sikh Genocide Memorial in Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib Complex, strongly objected to the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh arguing the Hindutva party itself had blood of innocent Muslims of Gujarat on its hands and was thus no different from the Congress so far as the attitude towards minorities was concerned.

Amritsar/Punjab (August 29, 2012): Dal Khalsa has hailed the Ahmedabad special court verdict in which Maya Kodnani, BJP MLA and former minister in the Narendra Modi government, and a Bajrang Dal leader is also convicted besides 30 others in the 2002 Naroda Patiya violence case. The genocidal violence had claimed the life of 97 people belonging to the minority community were killed.

Amritsar, Punjab (May 21, 2012): Bhartiya Janta Party, BJP, known for it's Hindutva ideology has opposed the Sikh memorial for June 1984. It is notable that in June 1984 Indian army attacked Sri Darbar Sahib, commonly known as Golden Temple of Amritsar. Thousands of civilian Sikh pilgrims were killed by Indian forces and Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, eternal seat of Sikh sovereignty was targeted with tanks, bombs and rockets and was badly damaged.
Moga, Punjab (October 14, 2011): Karnail Singh Peer Mohamman, head of Peer Mohammad faction of All India Sikhs Students Federation (AISSF - Peer Mohammad) announced that it will not allow L.K. Advani’s Rath Yatra to enter the State of Punjab because of Advani’s history of spreading communal disharmony and provoking violence against religious minorities during his previous Yatras.
Amritsar (October 01, 2011): Urging chief minister and former chief minister to stop politicking and save a life of a person who is on death row, the Dal Khalsa has asked for the assembly resolution on Oct 3 (Monday) for commutation of death penalty to life imprisonment for Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar.
Jalandhar (September 26, 2011): In a hard hitting statement, the Dal Khalsa has asked the BJP leadership to explain on what moral grounds they had been advocating the case of Indian spy Sarbjit Singh, who is on death row seeking his clemency from the Pakistani government.
Jalandhar (September 19, 2011): Sikh organization Dal Khalsa took a swipe at the Gujarat chief minister for changing his colours and stripes to portray himself as a "changed personality" and warned the people against trusting him.
