Movement Against Atrocities and Repression (MAAR) and all European Sikh and Kashmiri organizations and Gurdwara Management Committees held a massive protest rally and raised the freedom for all flag in front of the United Nations office in Geneva on Thursday, August 15th from 12:00 to 16:00 hours.

Sikh bodies urge United Nations (UN) to set up probe tribunal for crimes committed by Indian forces in June 1984

New York, United States (June 11, 2014): It is learnt that six Sikh organizations have submitted a complaint to United Nations' human rights body seeking a tribunal to investigate crimes committed by the Indian government during June 1984 army attack on Darbar Sahib and other Sikh Gurdwaras. They have also urged the UN to condemn the army attack.

New York, US (November 15, 2013): Commemorating the upcoming Gurupurb of Sri Guru Nanank Dev Ji, the Sikh human rights groups are commencing the global signature campaign in support of Sikh Genocide Petition pending before United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). On November 17, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) will hold 1984 Sikh Genocide Petition Signature Camps in Gurudwaras throughout the world.

Sikh Diaspora of Europe urged UN to send fact finding mission in India to save Prof. Bhullar

Switzerland, Europe (April 27, 2013): Sikh diaspora in Europe has urged the United Nations to send a 'fact finding' mission to India to investigate into the case of Professor Devender Pal Singh Bhullar, currently on death row, and pressurize Indian government to suspend his suspected execution. Besides this a call has been made to boycott Air India flights in protest against Indian government for their decision to hang Prof. Bhullar besides worldwide protest.

Switzerland (January 18, 2013): Ahead of Kamal Nath’s trip to Switzerland right groups “Sikhs For Justice” (SFJ) and a Swiss NGO “Movement Against Atrocities & Repression” (MAR) filed a preliminary indictment with Attorney General of Switzerland urging prosecution of Nath for his role in genocide of Sikhs during November 1984.
