New York, USA (January 28, 2014): According to certain media reports Ravi Batra, counsel of Congress president Sonia Gandhi said that Sonia Gandhi will not depose in a human rights violation lawsuit filed against her by Sikhs for Justice in a US Federal court.
New York, USA (January 26, 2014): Sikhs for Justice, a US based Sikh human rights and advocacy group wants Congress president Sonia Gandhi to depose before a New York Federal Court in a human rights violation lawsuit filed against her after she informed the court that she had not visited the US in September last year and was not served summons in the case.

New York, United States (November 20, 2013): US Federal Court in its November 18th order has given “Sikhs for Justice” (SFJ) till December 3rd to file an amended complaint against Congress President Sonia Gandhi in the pending human rights violation case. Despite the opposition from Gandhi’s attorneys, the Federal court granted victims’ request for additional two weeks to amend the complaint about the role of Sonia Gandhi in protecting and shielding the Congress (I) leaders who participated in killing of Sikhs during 1984.

New Delhi, India (May 03, 2013): On May 02, 2013 the Delhi witnessed mass protests by Sikhs in wake of acquittal of Sikh genocide accused Sajjan Kumar by an Indian court. Sajjan Kumar was inter-alia facing charges of murder and conspiracy along with five others. The court convicted other accused persons but acquitted Sajjan Kumar.
