They were convicted of carrying out an attack on Indian Army’s retired Lt. London, United Kingdom (September 21, 2013): It is learnt that the sentencing of three Sikhs convicted of carrying out an attack on Indian army's retired Lt Gen Kuldip Brar was postponed to next month by a British court on September 19, 2013.

London, UK (August 17, 2013): As per recent media reports (the British media regulatory authority called "Ofcom" has fined a UK-based Sikh television channel, Sangat TV, £30,000 over a comment passed by one of the guests participating in a discussion over the issue of attack on Indian Army's former officer Kuldip Brar. The show was aired in October 2012 when Kuldip Brar was assulted by some Sikhs in London.

Three Sikhs convicted by London court over Kuldip Brar’s stabbing

Kuldip Brar had led attack on Sikh shrines, including the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple of Amritsar), in June 1984. The attack has resulted in massive causalities as the attack was conducted on a specific day when there was huge gatherings in Sikh shrines.

London/Punjab (October 10, 2012): According to media reports the police in United Kingom has arrested 12 persons, including 2 women, in furtherance of their investigations into incident of attack on former Indian army officer Kuldip Brar outside a hotel in London last Sunday. Kuldip Brar had led armed invasion of various Sikh Gurudwaras in June 1984, including Sri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. Thousands, mostly innocent pilgrims were killed in this attack and Indian army used Tanks to destroy the building of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, eternal symbol of Sikh sovereignty.
