Fasting Sikh activist Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa who has been on hunger strike for more than 150 days now is reportedly re-shifted to Ludhiana this evening. He was shifted to PGI (Chanidgarh) few days back by the Ludhaina police.
Dal Khalsa team comprising Kanwar pal Singh, Satnam Singh, Dr. Manjinder Singh, Ranvir Singh, Nobeljit Singh met Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa at PGI and inquire about his health and discussed the developments related to release of Sikh political prisoners.
The Ludhiana police is reported to have got Bapu Surat Singh Khasla discharged from DMC Hero Heart Hospital. He is currently being shifted to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), commonly called PGI Chandigarh under police guard.

The Sangharsh Committee has reportedly decided to hold a series of ‘Vangaar marches’, including a march from Akal Takhat Sahib (May 25), Takhat Kesgarh Sahib (May 27) and Takhat Damdama Sahib (May 29). All these marches will conclude at Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa's native village Hassanpur in Ludhiana district.
